The Anodize it ! 2017 conference was focused on the most recent scientific contributions regarding:

- on one hand, the preparation of films, by anodization or micro-arc oxidation (/plasma electrolytic oxidation) on light alloys (Al, Ti, Mg) or other metals (Nb, W...), in typical, specific or innovative operating conditions.

- on the other hand, the functionalization of the resulting films (porous or not, highly-ordered or not) in order to achieve various functional properties for industrial applications in fields such as aeronautics, space or medicine.
